DOOR provides five tripod turnstile models with different cabinet dimensions, passage widths, drive mechanisms and pedestrian throughput levels. Standard solenoid-driven models are suitable for conventional controlled entrances, while the TT83 uses a brushless DC motor for projects requiring higher throughput.
Compare TT1X, TT1X-S, TT1X-SD, TT80 and TT83 by cabinet size, passage width, drive mechanism, throughput and MCBF before selecting a project configuration.
Depending on the selected configuration, the turnstiles can be prepared for RFID or IC card readers, QR code scanners, fingerprint terminals, facial recognition devices and compatible third-party access controllers. Review the tripod turnstile access control integration guide for additional planning considerations.
Selected models can support an emergency drop-arm or power-off release configuration. Fire-alarm, power-failure and evacuation behavior should be confirmed for the selected model and project requirements.
A single-channel sample can be supported for product evaluation. Mixed-model and larger project orders are also available. Final pricing, production schedule, packaging and configuration depend on the model, quantity, reader requirements and delivery destination.
Start with the entrance environment, user group and required access workflow. The points below provide a practical first-stage selection guide.
Compare the current DOOR models by passage width, typical pedestrian throughput, drive mechanism and MCBF. Final specifications should be confirmed against the latest approved technical data sheet for the selected configuration.
| Model | Maximum Passage Width | Typical Throughput | Drive | MCBF | Selection Point |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TT1X | ≤600 mm | 20 persons/min | Solenoid | 3 million cycles | Standard cabinet with the widest passage in this model range |
| TT1X-S | ≤550 mm | 20 persons/min | Solenoid | 3 million cycles | Compact cabinet for space-conscious entrances |
| TT1X-SD | ≤550 mm | 20 persons/min | Solenoid | 3 million cycles | Compact configuration for standard controlled access |
| TT80 | ≤550 mm | 20 persons/min | Solenoid | 3 million cycles | Standard access control integration configuration |
| TT83 | ≤550 mm | 30–35 persons/min | Brushless DC | 5 million cycles | Higher-throughput entrances requiring faster operation |
DOOR manufactures and supplies tripod turnstile gates for commercial and industrial pedestrian access control projects. Available models include TT1X, TT1X-S, TT1X-SD, TT80 and TT83.
The final price depends on the selected model, motor or drive mechanism, cabinet material, reader configuration, access controller, order quantity, packaging and delivery destination. A project-specific quotation should identify both the standard equipment and optional components.
Potentially yes. Integration depends on the selected reader, controller signals, communication interfaces, power requirements and management software. Compatibility should be confirmed before production instead of assuming that every third-party system is supported.
Based on the current model comparison, TT83 provides a higher typical throughput than the solenoid-driven models. Final lane capacity also depends on credential-reading time, user behavior, access rules and the number of installed lanes.
Outdoor suitability is model- and configuration-specific. Confirm the cabinet material, enclosure protection, sealing, drainage, corrosion resistance and operating-temperature range before using a turnstile in an exposed environment. A canopy may still be required for readers and electronic components.
A standard tripod turnstile should not be used as the only accessible passage. Projects should normally provide a separate gate with appropriate clear width for wheelchairs, luggage, carts and emergency movement.
A single-channel sample can be supported for evaluation. Confirm the selected model, reader preparation, voltage, delivery schedule and shipping requirements before ordering.
