Not every E-Gate is designed for outdoor use. Outdoor suitability depends on the model’s IP rating, cabinet sealing, corrosion protection, drainage design, operating temperature, humidity resistance and protection from direct rain, dust and sunlight.
For example, the current EG31 specification identifies the model as an indoor unit with an IP42 rating, so it should not be presented as a standard outdoor E-Gate.
